The joy of mercy. The writer of Hebrews in our text is arguing that there is a new covenant that is based in the work of Christ.
There will be a coming day when God would renew the minds of Israel and write into their hearts the very things that gentiles already have in the cross. The blindness over Israel would be lifted and the nation, from the least to the greatest would experience the mercies of God.
